M elinda Myers is a well- known national gardening expert, TV/radio host, author and columnist. She has over 30 years of horticulture experience. Melinda has written over 20 gardening books including “Jackson and Perkins’ Beautiful Roses made Easy”: Mid- West Edition, and “Can’t Miss Small Spaces Gardening.” Her nationally syndicated, “Melinda’s Garden Moments” airs over 125 TV and radio stations throughout the United States. She also host international Great Courses “How to Grow Anything” DVD series. Melinda is a contributing editor for “Birds & Bloom” magazine. In addition she also writes the popular “Gardeners’ Questions in the newspaper column and also a regular column for the “Chicagoland Gardening” and the “Wisconsin Gardening” magazines.

Melinda was known as the “Plant Doctor” for over twenty years. She was a contributing editor for “Backyard Living” magazine. Also written for “Better homes and Gardens” and “Fine Gardening”.

Melinda has received numerous awards for her community service, media presence and her work. She received the national American Horticultural Society’s B>Y> Morrison Communication Award, recipient of the Golden Globe Award for radio and the Quill and Trowel Award for her television work. And many more prestigious awards. Melinda became the first woman to be inducted into the Wisconsin’s Green Industry Federation’s hall of Fame.
